A competition entry for a Holocaust memorial on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, designed in collaboration with Architect Krassimir Krastev of Node Habitat. The design's symbolic silhouette — reminiscent of the Star of David — resolves into an ensemble of three colonnades of angled Blades that filter visitors through five thematic spaces, each representing a facet of the Holocaust: propaganda, segregation, violence, deportation, and the Final Solution. Exhibit chambers — 'memory containers' — hold symbolic objects representing lost lives and cultural accomplishments. The sequence culminates in a secluded gathering and contemplation space from which the Boardwalk and open ocean frame the horizon: a deliberately open ending to a deeply considered journey through memory.
